There are 6 types of population namely finite, infinite, animate, inanimate, existent and hypothetical.
1. Finite population:- The population in which the total number of element is finite is called a finite population. Eg, total number of books in a library.
2. Infinite population:- The population in which the total number of element is infinite is called a infinite population. Eg, the total number of Stars in the sky.
3. Animate population:- The population in which the elements have life is called an animate population. Eg, the total number of people in a room.
4. Inanimate population:- The population in which the elements don't have life is called an inanimate population. Eg, the total number of furniture in a room.
