       You might have heard about the term population a lots of times in statistics. It's a term which is used most frequently in the field of statistics. So, what is this  population? The most simple definition of population is that, a set or aggregate of some elements having similar characteristics, or the set of an experiment.        There are 6 types of population namely finite, infinite, animate, inanimate, existent and hypothetical.       1.
